Garage Conversion

Just completed this garage conversion. The client wants it as a playroom for their 2 kids. Flooring is Quickstep laminate in White Ash.

Bathroom Refurbishment

Here we carried out a full bathroom refurbishment with new bathroom suite and shower enclosure.  A new radiator was fitted replacing the old towel rail. The floor was tiled with square ceramic tiles and the walls are a porcelain tile with a granite/glass mosaic border.







Laminate Flooring

Here we installed an Oak laminate floor into a newly built conservatory. The flooring used was Quick-Step Classic in Natural Varnished Oak.

Indian Sandstone Patio

This job was to replace an old 1970's concrete slab patio with a new Indian Sandstone one. The old paving was removed and disposed of. The lower patio area was built up with a crushed limestone base. The brick pavior edging was installed along with the Indian Sandstone paving. A new timber arbour was also constructed and new trellis installed to disguise the existing panel fencing. The old brick was also rendered to improve the appearance. Above are before and after photos and below are some additional photos of the completed job. 

Decking

Here we installed a small decking area surrounding an existing hot tub.

Kitchen Install

We replaced an old set of kitchen units and worktops with new units supplied by Wren kitchens. It was the first time that we'd used their kitchens but was impressed with the quality and nothing was missing. The client is going to be replacing the wall tiles and floor vinyl.

Fencing

Here the clients wanted to replace an old privet hedge which had become overgrown with a closeboarded fence. The old hedge was removed and taken to a recycling facility for composting. The new 4” posts were installed into concrete filled holes. The gravel board and rails were then fitted to the posts and then the featheredge boarding was nailed to the rails. Finally the boarding was topped off with some capping. The clients are extremely pleased with the result and both sides have gained additional space.
